I was raised in a musical household and grew up listening to jazz albums with my mom, singing and dancing with my cousins, and learning to speak the universal language of music. My career spans classical, contemporary and improvised musics, and my work has allowed me to lead community initiatives and educate the next generation of young creators. Through accolades and a rigorous post-secondary education, I’ve established my own unique voice and my pedagogy that I’ve shared with students across disciplines.
